Titanium TinkleBerry: The Dog Whom I Love part 16

Shining comes naturally when you start to believe that God has provided everything you have, that you have been given a gift that is just for you from God, and that you are accepted and loved by Him and He has sent you hope, guidance and comfort through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Next you accept that you don’t have to prove your worth to the people who don’t believe in you because the battle is not yours to fight. God wants to fight that battle for you. You find peace, and joy. Why does God want to fight our battles? Because He knows that “For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians 6:20 ASV). The trinity knows how to keep us safe and productive as we journey through this world. The truth is evident in the Adam and Eve story and in the story of Job. Like Adam and Eve and Job, we must decide to trust God and believe in His word.
Words are the neutral element in the battle. Satan uses suggestive methods and words to turn us away from the word of God. God uses stories and words to help us to understand how He can save us from Satan’s influence. This difference in the use of words is very important. In Romans 12:2 KJV it says “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” The battle for our minds, our belief systems is ongoing. Satan would be hard pressed to get a believer to lose their salvation and entrance into heaven but he sure can make our lives hell on Earth. In an effort to prevent this from happening, the bible also tells us in Proverbs 4:7 KJV, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Please join us on Wednesday by 12pm est for the next chapter. and Thanks for reading.
