Titanium TinkleBerry” The Dog Whom I Love part 18
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life,” (John 3:16 ASV). So that we may have a chance to know ourselves, forgive ourselves and accept ourselves. Then do the same for others. So that we can find peace through our thankfulness and appreciate the differences of others. So we can find wisdom, courage and strength to keep us moving forward and enjoy our lives. So that everyday can be the best day of our lives and we can shine in the midst of darkness always. So that we are alright with not being approved by everyone instead we chose each and every day to “run our race” and trust God to see us through. This we pray in Jesus name, Amen.
Here is something fun to consider: Titanium TinkleBerry doesn’t count. He doesn’t know that he has two legs and two arms. He doesn’t care that he has two eyes. If you were to cut off one of his legs or if he were to lose one of his eyes he would continue on as if he was meant to be that way. When I distribute his food, he doesn’t say “hey, yesterday there were 100 kernels in my bowl and now there are only 50”. Or “Diamante (his sister) got more than me”. Now he does notice when Diamante is still eating. He definitely wants to commandeer her food but he doesn’t compare the food. Food is just food. The food doesn’t belong to Diamante. She is just allowed to eat it. But Titan expects that eventually, if not immediately, that he too will be able to eat any food available.
Titan knows his food is provided by his master and when he needs more food he comes to me and asks. Then he is accepting of whatever I give him. He doesn’t evaluate the food’s nutritional value or quantity. He doesn’t whine that he didn’t get enough. He is like we were when we were children. He shows us what we should be like as adults with our Master. Thank you God for role models in nature and a heart of discernment to be able to infer wisdom. Please join us on Monday by 12pm est for the next chapter. and Thanks for reading. GE Williams
