Be Blessed part 2

The courage to keep believing that we are the beloved of God and that we are the righteousness in Christ. We need Jesus to give us the courage to keep receiving his unmerited favor and keep asking for it even when it seems that our brothers are not receiving it. We need the boldness that comes from developing a personal relationship with Christ. Why should our blessings come from God the answer is in Ephesians 2:9 KJV “Not of works, lest any man should boast.” The more blessed you are, you will find the less you want to boast about it.
If you became blessed through your own efforts and God had nothing to do with it when someone comes asking how can they be like you and when you tell them what you did and they do it and their results turn out to be detrimental to their health, how do you feel? How many times can you do that before those disappointments start to affect you? How long until you stop dealing with the world as a result of boasting about your success?
How important is peace? It depends on how much you value your life? A lack of peace shortens your life. It robs you of your happiness and joy. It robs you of your money, your relationships and your health. This is why Luke 16:13 KJV says, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” It is so hard to be blessed that we find ourselves making a choice. This choice eventually defines our life because it shapes our beliefs.
But our God is greater. He knows our struggles. He appreciates our human limitations and provides our escape. How you ask? When we set our minds to receive unmerited favor; when we set our minds so that we cannot boast in our own efforts; when we choose to believe “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). When we choose to believe for and ask for blessings that are so big we cannot fathom how or when or where or who or why they exist. When we know that we can never save another the way we have been saved. When all we can do is live the rest of our lives showing others how grateful we are to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We enter the kingdom of heaven.
