Great Faith part 2

Admittedly I am not a big believer in prophesying, however that is ok because Jesus believed in prophesying and I believe in Him. Some people don’t believe in giving. But I am a huge believer in giving. I have Great Faith in that area so I give. As a result, God has put in my path people who have Great Faith in prophesy, “so we, numerous as we are, are all one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another [mutually dependent on one another]” Romans 12:5 AMP. That person that prophesies is just as important and the person that gives, all are necessary to reach people and share with them the Good News. Jesus makes whatever we, as His body, do matter to God.

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV brings this point home with this statement from Jesus, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” So what is the will of the Father? John 6:29 KJV tells us, “Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” But why is it so important that we put Great Faith in what Jesus has accomplished on the cross? “Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled”, John 6:26 KJV. Developing a personal relationship with Jesus makes the impossible possible and helps us to see more than just blessings. Jesus eradicates the sin that separates us from God.
