Promoting Word Study
Don’t remember your last time. Don’t revisit your past failures. Don’t pity yourself. Don’t condemn yourself again. Remember Jesus. Remember that He loves you. Remember that you are already successful because you have Him. Remember that you are forgiven and that you are the righteousness of God. Remember you are a new creature in Christ. Don’t listen to that new coworker’s negative comments.
This isn’t it, your last hurrah. You don’t need them to like you. You are not the star of the show. You don’t have the cure to what ails them. You are not the savior. You are not the hero. You don’t need this victory to get to the next level. You have already won. You’re next level is already promised. You are the messenger, the servant. You showed up with everything you needed. Just remember Him.
Remember to pray. Remember to lean on God’s unmerited favor vs. your understanding of the situation. Talk to God if you are feeling uneasy. Do things that put you in a peaceful state of mind so that God can connect with you. Ask questions? Think on Him. Mediate on His promises. Step back. Step away. Remember Him. This blessing benefits you but it is not about you.
Oh Yeah…this blessing is about glorifying God so that others can come to know Him as well. Oh Yeah…It is not about me. But it’s my desire’s being fulfilled. It’s my blessing…You are right it is about you… But you just said that it is not about me…It isn’t? Consider this:
“So neither he who plants is anything nor he who waters, but [only] God Who makes it grow and become greater. He who plants and he who waters are equal (one in aim, of the same importance and esteem), yet each shall receive his own reward (wages), according to his own labor. For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; you are God’s garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, [you are] God’s building” (1Corithians 3: 7-9) AMP.
