Promoting Word Study
The same thing happens in our lives we just have to learn to broaden our scope. A dream that is met by God will have breath taking results and there will be no room for regrets or loss. The manifestation of your dream will completely fulfill you. Not to mention, you will be ready and be willing to give out of the bounty you have received. When I was younger I used to dream of opening a school. This school would be specific. It would specialize in emotional and financial health skills. It would highlight different cultural expertise like the Asian math and electronic skills, American science, strategic and music skills. It would also highlight, the architecture skills of the Middle East and the Canadian health care system.
It would be a school that focused on cognitive growth and the human condition. A place where creativity and imagination would soar. A place where everything related and enhanced each other. Where science and math and English and music and reading and drama were all one language. They wouldn’t be independent subjects to be mastered. They would be dependent subjects that when put together created the world we live in. The goal would never be to master the subject but to always find new ways to improve it and to use it.
Throughout life’s journey, I stopped thinking about that school and for many years, never considered it until God helped me invent The Vocabulary Game. The Vocabulary Game is a game that works with a student’s current vocabulary words. It promotes cognitive growth, word study according to the different uses of one word. It evokes the imagination and improves a student’s ability to follow the mental sequence of events. The game gives the words life and versatility.
Our thoughts, beliefs and lives are defined by what words mean to us. We can tell if a person is happy, said or lying by the words they use. We can become almost clairvoyant, as we listen to the words other people speak and foretell their next thought or action or need. A sales person can read our personalities by the order of words that come out of our mouth. Proverbs 18:21 ASV says, ” Death and life are in the power of the tongue; And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Playing the game with adults and children alike brought that dream back to mind. When I remembered the dream, I felt satisfied that it was being fulfilled with The Vocabulary Game. The dream came back in my head not as a hope or wish but as a grateful astonishment. It was a peace and a tearful, joyous realization of a dream that had come true. The desire was met in a way I would have never imagined and I never planned. Once again I have experienced Ephesians 3:20-21 KJV “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
